Editing of Content Page

Coming to one of the most attractive pages in my magazine, this one took a while!

Here is how I edited the content page of my magazine:

To start off, I selected a pale grey color from the web for the background of the page as I thought that white would look too simple and plain:

I added this colored page to my magzine:

Following my inspiration from "GoodFood" magazine, I added two border line to the page:

I used this particular tool for adding the lines:

I then added the name of my magazine, "EPICURE" and the text "CONTENTS" in the top left box.
I edited the text "EPICURE" to be of size 32, in the font "Time New Roman" and in the color "Orange, Accent 2".
For the text "CONTENTS", I kept it in plain black, in the font "Aptos" with a font size 48.

I then added the finalized picture for Image 1 on the Content page in top left of the left column:

Next, I added the second picture I finalized for the content page in the right column, right below the text "CONTENTS":

Once this was done, I thought of adding a little quote under the picture to spice it up a bit:

I edited the text by adding a highlight to it in the color "Gold"

Once again, following my inspiration page, I asked mother to give me the recipe of her dish, Laksa which I photographed for the first picture on the content page.
She sent me the recipe via WhatsApp:

After this, I started adding the ingredients only of Laksa, under the picture:

Thinking from a business perspective, I assumed that readers who start reading and find interest in the recipe of Laksa, would want to read more about it. This is when it clicked me, why not keep only the ingredients here, and write "Continue of dash page" so that readers would go ahead and read the magazine further, like this:

Lastly, I changed the color of the name of the dish as I wanted it to be different from the ingredients and recipe of the dish yet, matching the color codes of the dish.
I changed it to the color "Brown" and in the font "Baskerville Old Face" in the size 27:
