Editing of Article Page 2

 Once the plan for Article page 2 of my magazine was ready, I immediately started making the magazine.

Firstly, I added the selected picture for this page on a blank slide and cropped it so that the unwanted background space was removed:


I then placed the picture on the top right of the page:




Following the style of article page 1, I decided to crop the image in half and keep a semi-circle shape of the dish:


Once this was done, I added the remaining text of the article in font "Cambria" with font size being 14 in color black and the second picture selected for this page on the slide:



Once again, following the way I aligned the text on article page 1, I started aligning it similarly on this page too with image 1:


The second picture that I selected for this page was really good, however, it was getting difficult to align it in the bottom which is why I tried on a different picture which was horizontal.
This picture perfectly fit into the remaining space which is why I decided on finalizing it:




Lastly, I felt that the text was looking too simple, so I added a highlight to the entire text in a similar color as the second picture for it to match the color theme of the page.
The color I chose was "Gold, Accent 4, Darker 25%":

Research and Analysis of Cover Pages in Food Magazines

I started by browsing through food magazines, both online and off. I skimmed through several covers. Their purpose was the same, whether they were strikingly colorful or more subdued: to draw your attention and entice you to pick up the magazine. During my research, I discovered a few interesting things. Firstly, the mouthwatering images of food on the covers resembled little narratives just waiting to be discovered. I was famished just by glancing at them! Then I noticed the layout of the headlines and titles; some were large and bold, while others had a more whimsical and artistic feel. "Hey, there's something interesting inside!" was what they all attempted to say to me. What more did I learn? Yes, the colors and typefaces chosen for the covers were crucial.
